The problem
Single-story stucco house, shingles the homeowner put at 11 to 15 years old, nothing leaking yet. On the first visit the weak spots were the roof penetrations. The sealant around the solar tube domes and the vent pipes had dried and cracked, and the gutters were packed with leaves.
What we did
Tear-off down to the deck, with up to five sheets of plywood replaced where the wood was bad. Ice and water shield underlayment, white drip edge, then TAMKO Titan shingles in Virginia Slate. A Tri-Built High Flow ridge vent replaced the other vents, and the house got three new pipe boots and three new goosenecks. The old satellite dish came down for good.
All four tubular skylights were removed and replaced, flashed into the new roof. The gutters came off too: new 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters in white, plus a run and a downspout over a front window that never had one.

The result
Finished photos are from August 10. Dark gray shingles and bright white seamless gutters, with the solar tubes sitting tight in the new roof.
