The problem
A manufactured home with a nearly flat roof that already had two roofs stacked on it, old metal underneath and TPO on top. The top layer was chalky and streaked, and you could see the lines where water had been sitting. The homeowner came to us asking about metal.
What we did
Both layers came off, and so did the old decking. Where the rafters needed it we added 2x4 supports, then sheeted the entire roof, all 27 squares, with new 15/32-inch OSB, nailed and hurricane-clipped to code.
Over that went high-temperature self-adhering ice and water shield on the whole deck. That's the white Ultra HT in the photos. New drip edge set in roofing cement, 26-gauge metal panels and 26-gauge ridge, plus new 26-gauge vents and pipe boots, nothing reused or painted. We pulled the permit and handled the inspections.

The result
Finished photos are from late September. Blue metal from end to end, sitting on a brand new deck instead of two worn out roofs.
